bioGenous? Human Esophageal Organoid Kit is a serum-free culture medium for human esophageal organoids derived from adult stem cells. These esophageal organoids exhibit complex structures resembling native esophageal tissue, with a cellular composition that includes basal cells (TP63+, KRT5+, KRT14+) and differentiated squamous cells (KRT3+). Human esophageal organoids display hallmarks of the esophageal epithelium in terms of architecture, cell type composition, and self-renewal dynamics, therefore provides a valuable model for studying esophageal development, disease mechanisms, and drug responses.
